There's a lot to like and a few things that can be improved
-
Great product, things to be aware of:The pen provided is just a regular
-
Abuse is one thing, but common things like tipping the monitor over or moving the laptop or device its connected to a little too far WILL cause the connector to break.
-
This thing has been a life saver.
-
I can't say enough great things about this screen!
-
they are really good these things!
-
The most important thing is the monitor doesn't work, even couldn't start up
-
But if you have to click and work on that screen, then things get ugly.
-
This thing is great for multi-tasking and efficiency
-
This thing died right after the return window expired!!
-
Best thing since sliced bread
-
this is not the case, it is a different model that supports 1920x1080 namely the MB168B+Also when I test drove it for a while, the thing that annoyed me the MOST was the lag the screen had with the mouse
-
This thing is awesome, use it everyday for work while programming on the move with my laptop, should get a 2nd to have triscreen setup
-
There is only 1 thing thus far I don't like/could be improved.
-
And physically getting the damned thing to stand up is a major non-intuitive task that I still haven't come to terms with - even after studying the instructions.
-
Even with 32 mb RAM and a 6 gb video card, sometimes things don't refresh properly later in a lengthy work session.
-
It bogged my computer down to a crawl and finally just froze up the whole dang thing.
-
No additional power cord needed, which keeps things cleaner and minimized outlet hogging
-
This thing is awesome!I just opened it up, using it with OSX 10.10.3.
-
Funny thing is they have button to control brightness
-
It is also fairly large which is a good thing at home or in the office but not ideal on a plane, even in business class.
-
The odd thing (to me) is the pen they include
-
/break screenThe greatest thing is that you get really good portable FHD IPS screen and it makes a lot of difference when you need to move around with a laptop
-
This thing is seriously flawed!!
-
I find myself dragging things onto the background and ignoring the 'extra' all black real estate around the edge (between the wallpaper and the bezel). This monitor has great performance.
-
The colors are starting to do some weird thing in which they look "faded" or don't appear at all when connected to my HP laptop
-
I absolutely love this thing and always travel with it
-
If you read my initial review, you'll see I'd mentioned that I wasn't sure how durable this thing was.
-
Great second screen - very portable (fits in my daypack along with the laptop).Downside is that It does seem to slow things down a little, and its not very bright.
-
I should have listened to the other reviewers saying that this thing cracks way too easy
-
Love this thing and highly recommend it.
-
It worked just fine as a second monitor Clarity wise though, i wonder if it would look better in usb 3.0.As a traveling monitor, this is the best thing ever made.
-
/break screenThe greatest thing is that you get really good portable FHD IPS screen and it makes a lot of difference when you need to move around with a laptop
-
This is my favorite thing ever
-
The sad thing is
-
This thing is amazing.
-
IF you do decide to buy one of these, find a nice solid hard case with inner padding to keep it in, because it's pretty flimsy.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------*Initial review -- 3 weeks after purchaseOut of the box, I will say this thing looks pretty sleek.
-
This thing is awesome.
-
I absolutely love this thing
-
It is also fairly large which is a good thing at home or in the office but not ideal on a plane, even in business class.
-
Except for one thing, well two things--a., stand does not work and monitor will not stay up; b., drivers can clash with your video card.
-
If you are anything like me, the less cables, the better - I have a thing for cable management.
-
If you have bought it ( like me), the only thing I can do is to pray
-
One very nice thing about the case is it does have several (2) elastic loops that allow you to never have to fully remove the power cable that it uses.
-
I recommend that external display to people that love light things (1.8 lbs)
-
Compared to the AOC e1659Fwux- Pro, this thing is beautiful.
-
Best thing for mobile workers.
-
The most important thing is the monitor doesn't work, even couldn't start up
-
One strange thing is ,i use custom resolution of 1920x1280 on Surface Pro (because the original resolution is useless on 12 inch screen), but when I plug the usb monitor, my custom resolution is gone
-
This is a beautiful thing.
-
It feels a little larger than I expected, and that's not a bad thing
-
This thing is sleek, super clean lines, super thin, and super
-
I've done everything imaginable to protect these things while traveling
-
I love this thing, I didn't need a full size second monitor at my home desk
-
Happily, some things are as good as they look
-
I love this thing and if it ever breaks I will immediately buy another one.
-
This monitor also has an auto-orientation feature that automatically detects the orientation of the screen (portrait or landscape.)The only bad thing about this monitor/setup is the 2-1 travel case/monitor stand
-
It's not the brightest thing, but it's bright enough for most purposes
-
It's not the brightest thing, but it's bright enough for most purposes
-
The only good things about this monitor is that it is thin and has a nice display
-
The neat thing is it fits perfectly into my laptop bag
-
This thing is absolutely AMAZING.
-
Most things about this monitor are great
-
If you work in IT or any profession where several monitors is the SOP, this thing is a must have for your travels.
-
This thing often falls off as it is very flimsy to use and can only be used on a hard, level surface.
-
This thing just works!
-
There really aren't words for how great this thing is.
-
I love this thing
