ASUS MB168B 15.6" WXGA 1366x768 USB Portable Monitor

    • Easy to setup on Windows 10.The bad: Requires additional drivers but I guess that is unavoidable since I don't have USB-C on my laptop
    • Can't control brightness with OSX (have to connect to a Windows computer) - I don't trust the case-stand 100%
    • I even downgraded my Windows 10 to 8.1 - still didn't work.
    • DisplayLink will not work with 915 graphics and Windows 7 and this message will be seen after install
    • I have Windows 10 installed and it works with no issues
    • In both cases I'm using Windows 10, and the disc that came with the "B" version complained the driver wouldn't work with my OS, and directed me to go to the displaylink website anyway, so it was rather pointless
    • Again, that's a Windows issue, not a problem with the monitor
    • Windows 10 does not make it easy to get to the normal settings you would find under display properties (resolution, refresh rate, etc), but after digging around, it says it's set to 60hz, but it certainly does not feel like it
    • In the end, poor resolution, hazy picture, very dim, poor Windows 10 driver support with a lot of odd behavior with Windows jumping around when trying to place them in this screen drove the decision to return it for a refund.
    • It doesn't have a "cheap-o" feel
