I'm an IT professional and this works great with
-
So far this is working great for me at home and at the office.
-
but it's about what I expected since I purposely purchased the "cheaper" model and it does work good enough to get work done
-
The Asus support section has acknowledged the issue since October 2016, but does not provide any date for a fix (and neither does the live support).Otherwise works great in landscape mode as a second screen as advertised; relatively light to use when traveling.
-
It has greatly simplified my work.
-
Needed a second monitor to pair with my 13" work laptop and it works well for spreadsheets, programming, and other fairly 'static' work
-
Monitor was working great for first 2 months
-
The case stand it comes with works well unless you have limited desk space
-
It's flimsy and takes up valuable work space
-
Excellent, works fine with MacBook Air, but driver installation was required
-
I have had this portable ASUS monitor for a little over 5 months and the product has been working excellent making working at home more efficient with the two screens
-
The work flow I've developed works best on a 3 monitor setup, which I have in my home office, but I always lose that when I travel and am confined to laptop
-
The case/stand works really well as a case, the monitor fits very snug
-
The provided cover which also acts as the stand does work well despite some other reviewers having difficulty with it.
-
The case for storing the monitors works great for storage and just fine as a stand.
-
For a stand, I purchased a Anker Multi-Angle Aluminum Stand - works well since these are not touch screens..
-
So one monitor works great, the other is dim enough to give me a headache after a few hours of use
-
It's thin, the stand+cover works well for me (pretty smart configuration actually), and as I said the picture is beautiful.
-
Even with 32 mb RAM and a 6 gb video card, sometimes things don't refresh properly later in a lengthy work session.
-
The few minor downsides are that it still is DisplayLink, which while pretty decent, still does not allow any kind of color calibration, so if you're doing color-sensitive work, I'd go for the more expensive GeChic monitors (which have hdmi in, so you can use normal calibration utils)
-
This works great as a second PORTABLE monitor
-
I would give it fewer stars based on my own experience, but I don't want to knock it too hard for those of you with PCs or those who don't need to do the kind of intense mouse/stylus work that I do.
-
how durable it is for this type of an application but so far it seems to be working well.
-
The USB C to USB 3 works great and has no issues with connectivity
-
This is a great mobile work monitor.
-
It worked flawlessly on Windows 10, but drivers were required under Windows 7 which makes it a problem to use on a managed work device (no admin rights)
-
My work solely consists of PowerPoint and Excel, so you could say my work is not very color-sensitive
-
This works great with the right USB-C (using with Skull Canyon NUC)
-
Great product worked right out of the box with no setup.
-
The monitor works perfect with no external power source, The case that is included however, does not provide adequate support to create a stand for the monitor.
-
The product works well, is plug and play, and, despite other reviews, the case doubles well as a monitor stand.
-
Needed to some work at home, so used to two screens at work, open contacts on one page, work on the other, so easy to install no fuss no muss.
-
I purchased this monitor because I wanted to see if I liked working with two monitors
-
As someone who does not do a lot of fine graphics work, I can do everything for work from this screen, including watching videos
-
Pros: monitor works and serves as a second monitor when traveling, good enough for word and excel docs
-
Perfect when working on spreadsheets.
-
The drivers are easy to install for both and the monitor works perfectly for both OSes.
-
This works great with my 2017 MacBook Pro with usb-c.
-
Which is a big concern while working around 3 clingy dogs
-
A co-worker recommended this to me, so I bought one for travel while working in hotel rooms and need dual screens (like I have in my office).
-
Monitor works great
-
I'm still working on mine, but I really like the picture quality
-
This portable external monitor works perfectly on trips around and outside the country
-
The screen has been working great, I have been able to set up three screens at once with it
-
The work really well and have a great image for such a small, USB powered monitor.
-
Screen resolution isn't on part with the Surface, but as a portable work setup, it can't be beat
-
It does the job, stand works well
-
It is not expensive, padded where the monitor sits, sits almost vertical if you want, works VERY well with this monitor, and YAY
-
Instead, the travelling protective sleeve works both as sleeve and as a stand
-
I used an HP portable monitor previously with my work, and this monitor worked amazingly well.
-
Also, at home, I have a home office with two full sized monitors, but some times I like working from the kitchen
-
This monitor works great with both of my thinkpad laptops
-
but if you also need another screen for complex work tasks.
-
I hardly sit at my desktop at home now because Im just as effective working anywhere
-
I was also able to get my work's IT support to login as admin to do the install.
-
, soI bought a different style stnad which is working great.
-
This worked really well out of the box.
-
Display works great, but I don't like the fact that it requires an external power source to work with my Surface Pro 3
-
I purchased this item twice - the first one worked well for over a year - but all of a sudden stopped working.
-
Stopped working and unable to reset
-
The case provided with the monitor is also sufficient to protect it and it is working well enough as a stand for the monitor
-
the matte screen cuts down glare, making usable in almost any light-IPS screen gives reasonable viewing angles-light enough to pack with you at all times, but still seems pretty sturdy-the protective sleeve works in a pinch as a stand

-
This monitor has made my work much more efficient and much easier while on the road
-
While working from home it was becoming difficult to share my screen in my webex meetings for below three reasons:1
-
It doesn't have a "cheap-o" feel
