• Reviews around response (4.03 of 5)

    ASUS MG28UQ 4K/UHD 28-Inch FreeSync Gaming Monitor

    • The main issue I have with IPS panels is the slower response time ~10ms (even if they say 5ms is closer to 10ms) and "IPS
    • I watched a lot of videos about most of the monitors in this price range, and all of them seem to have everything I want (1440p,144hz+, fast response, ok colors, limited blur and bleed) until they reveal a "game breaking" flaw that pushes me away
    • It's very, very, marginally, to the point of most likely indiscernible to the average enthusiast slower response time wise to the "premium branded" ROG Swift monitor all while having an IPS panel
    • After weeks of research I was finally able to settle on this monitor because asking for good color gamut, fast response and refresh time went upwards of $700
    • -Ultra Fast response time no noticeable input lag-Excellent stand with great adjust abilityCons:-TN panel washed out colors-Color and Gamma shifts with the bad viewing angles-Light bleeding around edges very distracting-Screen door effect when Freesync kicks in below 120hz (not sure if this is just an issue the monitor I received had)

    • Great monitor with amazing response time.
    • Amazing color quality, and great response and refresh rate
    • Love the design and that 1ms response is absolutely beautiful.
    • This is a TN panel which has fast response times, but less color depth and accuracy and washes out at angles compared to an IPS display.
    • Great response time, this particular model is a TN
    • But TN's usually have amazing response time and high refresh rates
    • Aside from having the better Freesync range 40-144 than its IPS counterpart, having a TN (8-bit) panel makes it perfect for gamers that rely on fast response times
    • Fast response time, BEAUTIFUL graphics, and a real treat to use
    • Low response time = no input lag
    • And it has the USB and a fast response rate
    • One tip most people will probably know that a gaming setup is nothing without rgb LED’s, thus most people buy one to place behind monitor, if you are one of those people buy a usb LED light strip so it can connect to the monitor when it turns on and off when not receiving power, that way no grbabing rgb controller every time.
