    ASUS MG28UQ 4K/UHD 28-Inch FreeSync Gaming Monitor

    • Had a ton of stuck/dead pixels on it
    • Much to my surprise, this IPS panel didn't have any dead/stuck pixels.
    • I love everything about this monitor EXCEPT the super annoying stuck red pixel in the middle of the screen
    • The second monitor I got had little to no dead/stuck pixels but there's a small bright section that is about and inch tall and a quarter inch wide.
    • No dead/stuck pixels or smudges, and only a small area of IPS glow at the top
    • The monitor arrived with ZERO dead/stuck pixel, no flickering etc. etc.

    • This still makes monitor shopping terrifying as most companies will refuse to fix or refund before a certain number of dead/stuck pixels
    • It had what was advertised (from what I could tell) and I would have kept it if it wasn't for those meddling dead/stuck pixels :/
    • Well, the spot and the 8 dead/stuck pixels that I counted
    • One tip most people will probably know that a gaming setup is nothing without rgb LED’s, thus most people buy one to place behind monitor, if you are one of those people buy a usb LED light strip so it can connect to the monitor when it turns on and off when not receiving power, that way no grbabing rgb controller every time.
    • n’t work
    • I love this monitor, best one I
    • I am guessing that the monitor was fantastic but the new 2K & 4K cause issues on some video cards.
    • The default 4K on any 24" will be small and some prefer it
    • It gives him a clear 4K picture and the lack of noticeable latency is amazing
    • but I prefer the 2K for gaming.
    • Although, now both ubuntu and windows offer good scaling support for 4K and you can increase the font size to human range
