This size of a monitor stretches 1080p to its optimal limit but it looks pretty nice for general use day in and day out as the colors are generally good (Not quite LG 29UM68-P good) and the viewing experience with its IPS panel for photos and video is also good but it still has more gray to gray motion blur at ~5ms g2g than a TN panel so this isn't the best option for fast paced gaming

This version improves the resolution from 1080p to 1440p, and brightness from 250 cd/m2 to 300 cd/m2 while retaining everything I love about the MX279H (same overall design, flicker free, low blue-light, good contrast, and of course the absolutely brilliant color of an IPS panel).I do not play high-intensity shooters for the most part, but I don't notice any ghosting in the games I do play such as Fallout NV, Fallout 4 (which is basically just a shooter, ugh, but that is a review for a different day), Skyrim, The Old Republic, Civilization 5 and 6, and a few others

The only caveat I have with them is the limited options for manipulating the brightness and color for the different picture settings.
