ASUS MX279H 27-Inch, Full HD 1920x1080 IPS, Audio by Bang & Olufsen ICEpower HDMI VGA Frameless Monitor

    • Yes, 1080p versus this monitor's 1440p, and not a "Mac Friendly" resolution, but I also could have bought a 28" 4k monitor for the same price at a local MicroCenter shop
    • This is an excellent monitor - beautiful color and wonderful resolution
    • It is awesome and has great image resolution
    • Fantastic monitor, unbelievable color and resolution.
    • It has solid resolution and good color quality with multiple settings
    • Very nice display, amazing resolution for high res media; photos, videos, etc
    • Resolution is Fantastic
    • Colors are amazing, border is almost missing, and resolution is great.
    • This is a simple and elegant display with fantastic color and resolution for the price
    • Great resolution and appearance
    • All in all, the unit fired up automatically, very good resolution and color, etc,Thank God, because i would never have been able to adjust anything with the buttons, i like it better than the older Samsung I have.
    • Great size, great resolution, no issues at all
    • Arrived well packaged... monitor works great.. excellent resolution and works as described
    • The resolution would normally be great, but on macOS, it just looked like crap as it disables the HiDPI mode a Mac user is used to.. everything appeared pixelated and crappy
    • It works well displaying crisp, stable high resolution windows
    • I think I'll just have to suffer through it for a bit and purchase a 4K monitor when I have enough money to afford a computer that can support the 4K resolution
    • I am returning it and I will either spend more to get the proper 27" resolution (2560x1440) or downgrade to a 24".
    • The resolution is great, and I don't have any issues gaming on it
    • This version improves the resolution from 1080p to 1440p, and brightness from 250 cd/m2 to 300 cd/m2 while retaining everything I love about the MX279H (same overall design, flicker free, low blue-light, good contrast, and of course the absolutely brilliant color of an IPS panel).I do not play high-intensity shooters for the most part, but I don't notice any ghosting in the games I do play such as Fallout NV, Fallout 4 (which is basically just a shooter, ugh, but that is a review for a different day), Skyrim, The Old Republic, Civilization 5 and 6, and a few others
    • Bottom line: NO DEAD PIXELS.One issue has been touched on previously: although both MX27AQ's demonstrated flawless 2560x1440 resolution using the Displayports and Displayport cables, 1080p was the highest resolution available via HDMI
    • Great color and resolution.
    • Resolution is beautiful & the IPS/anti-glare is probably the best I've had
    • Great colors and resolution.
    • Resolution is perfect for Windows and Mac OSX
    • The resolution is great, size is what I needed.
    • Running in 1080P, the resolution is razor sharp with no oversharpening or visible artifacts of any kind
    • And the 1440 resolution is insane everything is just so clean and sharp, the built in audio is a plus, since not all monitor have built in audio
    • It's beautiful even if its not a real high resolution
    • Great size, great resolution, no issues at all
    • Resolution is great, controls are excellent and color is very palatable.
    • Perfect size, perfect resolution, perfect colors. also an amazingly thin bezel
    • In my opinion, a monitor this large simply has to support a greater resolution than 1080p
    • The resolution is outstanding and we couldn't be happier with this product.
    • The resolution and clarity are both outstanding and I love the borderless screen
    • Resolution is good
    • The resolution and the coloring is just so sharp and clean
    • Remember when 1920 x 1200 was a great size resolution, not anymore.
    • Great color and resolution for graphics and video work.
    • The housing of the monitor may be well made, but the resolution is terrible
    • The result is crystal-clear resolution and all the features I bought the ASUS for (be sure to specify the WQHD monitor version when buying).
    • The size is perfect, resolution crisp
    • Great resolution and huge!
    • I am a long time IT professional manager and really like the resolution and usable area
    • Nice high resolution screen
    • Wonderful display, with sharp texture high resolution and a large viewing angle range
    • The resolution isn't the highest I have seen, but good for a workstation and HD tv.
    • Purchased this beautiful monitor on July 6, 2015, resolution is super
    • Lack of a GOOD manual is inexcusable in display of this "quality" especially when it boots up to fuzzy unreadable text in 1920x1200 resolution (well below capability).
    • Great colors, dark blacks, amazing resolution (3440x1440)
    • Great resolution, clean design, noises
    • This is the most beautiful monitor i have ever seen, great price, great resolution.
    • The resolution is amazing, especially since I use it to play WoW Legion
    • Monitor is amazing, great resolution, and connected easily to my iMac
    • Great quality so far, love the inputs and the resolution.
    • The resolution is very good.
    • Resolution is great (so much real estate!), colors pop and barely any reflections.+Really Nice Design+Ports Galore: 1 DisplayPort, 3 HDMI+Vivid Colors-No VESA, no wall mounting this one
    • You could at most get half of this resolution and strange resolution issues using the LG one with similar connection type
    • Fantastic monitor with great HD resolution
    • Light, slim, beautiful resolution/color and a great value for this top-quality product.
    • Good resolution
    • Great looking monitor, low profile, beautiful colors and resolution
    • Works great, great resolution, looks nice
    • Great colors, dark blacks, amazing resolution (3440x1440)
    • This is a magnificent monitor with an impressive resolution and pixel aspect ratio
    • I first picked up the lower-resolution version of this monitor (ASUS MX279), but was disheartened to find that the resolution just wasn't sharp enough at that size for my work (I'm a graphic and web designer)
    • Best,David L
    • n’t want the power adapter freely hanging in the air.
    • Very bad button location/sensitivity - a possible work around would be to get a separate HDMI selector and use that instead - which I strong recommend if your going to use different inputs.2
    • This monitor has the best and deepest blacks I've ever seen
