Wtf?- Don't expect a super good sound

I have a separate very good sound system, therefore, I have not tried the B&O speakers.

The sound is quite crisp as well, much better than anything I anticipated for monitor speakers

The sound, in my opinion, is satisfactory.

I actively listen to music while I work, and the sound is good enough to fill my (small) room

For music, though, even my non-discerning ears notice that the sound isn't great

the sound is not that great

Don't buy this expecting good sound out of the speakers.

The sound is on the warm side; bass oriented with a decent midrange, but with the high frequencies quite muted or dull sounding

The sound is not great, which is to be expected for built-ins

Just bought my 2nd one from the amazon outlet....works great nice price...decent sound....a really big bang for the buck...and I love the look, careful putting it together you can pinch yourself on the hinge

The lower bezel does house the speakers on the sides which actually have a decent sound to them as far as monitors

The sound of the monitor on the other hand is a bit soft, it is not a sound that can be used as a replacement for your speakers, but it sounds good.

A brilliant, crisp monitor with good sound at a reasonable price.

The sound is shallow and it sounds like it is being sent out in the opposite direction compared to what you'd expect

But for PC, the sound is great

My complaint would be that the volume is a little awkward to handle and I haven't been able to set up the sound to work with the computer (might just be me, but my other monitor has great speakers so I honestly haven't tried very hard)

the sound is pretty bad (worse than the MPB internal sound)

The problem is that the unit developed spontaneous and intermittent buzzing sounds that wouldn't cease despite of everything I tried.

Surprisingly good sound too.

The sound is fairly good, but my 71 year-old ears probably could not distinguish the difference between $1500 speakers and the speakers in the monitor

Also, they have a sound so hollow that music has barely any bass, and I have to turn on closed captions for movies

However, after just 45 days and very little use, the speakers sound totally blown (not that they sounded that great to begin with)

The sound is also fantastic, not the thin mono-tone sound of every other monitor out their but sound with a bit of bass and richness

The sound on the one I received was completely defective, even with the audio

Worst part is that after macbook is awoken from sleep, it takes 3-5 seconds for the monitor to recognize the input, resulting in a loud static popping sound until it connects.

I will have Klipsch speak for you since your sounds are not so clear!

The audio controls from the mac do not work on these so I simply turn the sound off when using the monitor with a mac

Cons are that I do not buy two of the monitors as well as the internal speaker sound and the slightly wonky, but cool, touch sensitive controls.

I use it for my playstation 4 and the picture is crystal clear, the sound is great, and the speed is fast enough for any game.

The menu is VERY tricky, the instructions are USELESS, and the sound is exceptionally QUIET

i have two of these monitors and they look great and the sound on them is actually really good!

Also, if your computer is in sleep mode, reactivating it with the monitor turned on often results in flashes and incredibly unnerving thumping sounds before you see an image?

Again, if sound is important to you, please be aware that this monitor does not have a great set of speakers

Even at low volumes its nice and clear sounding, not thin at all.

The visual quality is very, very sharp and the sound from the speaks is adequate

The built-in speakers may not be as nice as some of the expensive ones ($100-$150+) but for being built-in to a slim monitor they put out enough sound and the quality is more than enough that I didn’t need any external speakers

For the price this monitor is hard to beat even the onboard Harmon/Kardon speakers offer some good sound for casual video watching.
