The "monitor calibration tool" on windows 10 was not helpful until I had googled "asus VE248H settings" and some helpful people had posted their settings.

Nonetheless, it was accepted for return no problem and I purchased the VS248H-P and love it

Getting a Samsung of the same price point to replace this crap-o-hardware.
