I had to follow directions someone else had posted in a forum on how to correct the color, though - factory settings are really off - and the volume is defaulted to 50% and must be dialed up via hard-to-find menu buttons

Although the aspect ratio did not initially fit and the color was initially poor, the multiple lighting settings and screen position controls allowed for proper adjustment quickly.

This is an EXTREMELY responsive monitor with very good color reproduction, great for 1080p gaming with some good response times, would recommend to anyone looking for a low response time 1080p monitor for getting into PC gaming.

If you have a choice, use DVI over HDMI due to the fact that it has a slightly better color range and better saturation.

Yes there is the obvious difference in size but what really stands out is the clarity as well as the color.
