Of course there are better monitors out there and the viewing angle and "only" full HD limitations are bit lacking...but its $200 cheaper than most other 144hz 27" monitors that are higher def/ips.

its rare that you love everything about something.bottom line this is an incredible monitor at a incredible price.and I paid the higher end 519.00.the picture quality is superb colors are beautiful right out of the box.blacks are deep and colors are vibrant and has paper white whites.i have no backlight bleed and a very slight glow in lower left corner like 1x1 inch barely noticeable.i bought the omen x 27"240hz,and the benq 2780q,Acer Predator XB271HU Abmiprz 27 returned all due to outstanding issues.omenx was impossible to balance out the dark and light areas of games due to lack of black variations and fresync2 is bunk with nvidia cards, benq had a horrible viewing angle and glow (HORRIBLE!!!

Also this monitor has a narrower view angle as a disadvantage of its high 144hz refreshing rate.

The viewing angle ruined the entire monitor

The colors are meh and the viewing angles are bad but 144hz never felt so good.

This was exactly what I was looking for and an amazing price compared to other models!I'm sure if you went with a TN panel instead of the IPS panel there would be less ghosting but the viewing angle is fantastic on this compared to the TN panels

I can now slap fools on all my consoles and my pc in many games I like such as Doom, Titanfall 2, and The Last of Us in amazing picture quality

The "A" in the Asus logo on the front of the monitor was missing

I definitely prefer refresh rate over 4k this is rated by NVIDA as a good g sync

The monitor is advertised as G-sync Compatible, but the driver doesn't recognize it as such

When you consider the fast frame rate, g-sync, extremely low latency and other gaming

The deceptive marketing does not stop there though, the monitor is listed as G-Sync Compatible, but that comes with some large caveats

I bought the 24" over the 27" in order to work with G-SYNC, but after having reinstalled my drivers, installing the new monitor driver, and updating my NVIDIA drivers, still no G-SYNC available

To use the "G-Sync compatible" features, you must have a Nvidia 10-series card or higher, the older 9-series doesn't support "G-Sync compatible", only regular G-Sync

I have 2 of these and both G sync compatible
