    ASUS VivoMini Mini PC (VC66-B003Z)

    • Then to find out I can only have one hard drive was double sad
    • You can install up to three hard drives: 1x M.2 and 2x sata SSD drives after disconnecting the DVD-Rom drive
    • The other big disappointment is the fact that the product page shows room for two (2)... 2.5" hard drives
    • If I knew that fact, I wouldn't have opted for the DVD drive and I wish the product page was more explicit that only select models of this PC could support two hard drives
    • Maybe someday I'll go to a SSD, but the hard drive boots in less than a minute into Win 10 so that's not too bad.
    • If I knew that fact, I wouldn't have opted for the DVD drive and I wish the product page was more explicit that only select models of this PC could support two hard drives
    • This machine was extremely slow and excessively crippled by the inadequate hard drive that shipped with this thing
    • Really poor choice for ASUS to use a cheap slow drive in this computer...
    • This setup did not allow me to add in the 1 TB Hard drive I bought for media storage
    • I bought the i7 version w/ non SSD hard drive.
    • As expected w/ the mechanical hard drive it runs like a dog.- Love the size
    • It's impressive how ASUS packed everything in this small little space... opening this up was really neat to see, but working in there to upgrade the hard drive and RAM is a cramped and a little challenging
    • In addition to the hard drive I also added 16GB DDR 4 RAM (it came with 8, so I now have 24GB) and a 250GB stick of flash memory
    • After about 5 days to a week the hard drive goes out, so instead of returning it I send it off to Asus for warranty repair.
    • I was hugely disappointed with the hard drive performance
    • The 512 gb hard drive by itself will be pushing it once I
    • TLDR: this amazingly small computer with a powerful full-size desktop CPU is completely hamstrung by the crappy hard drive it ships with
    • With the SSD hard drive things are quite snappy (running a test got (3234
    • so now I have to figure out a way to remove DVD drive and replace with another hard drive plus need a new top cover.
    • The M.2 slot is available for use, but until I get an M.2 drive the Hard drive will sit unused
