the screen looks nice and came with good colors out of the box however I have a rx 480 gpu that only has displayport and hdmi ports, this screen only has the hdmi port which happens to have problemsthe monitor wont stay on if screen output isn't being detectedso for example if your computer falls asleep that means that you need to turn on your monitor every time it goes to sleep and that it won't auto wake up when you start moving your mouse or typingit also will only stay on for 5 seconds and turn back off if it doesn't detect video output during that time which is really annoying when turning on your computer and having to turn on your screen a good 2-3 times before the computer starts sending video outputjust gonna note my first screen lasted fiveish months before the screen started flickering and showing green and static

The IPS panel is excellent - the viewing angle is exactly what you would expect from a good IPS display and the colors are bright and clear

I use mine with my gaming PC and games look very nice, but if you want more accurate color then you may want to pick up a more high end monitor

The monitor display itself is OK, not bad for a monitor at this price, but the colors are not incredible like some of the other reviews seem to suggest.

this is a really horrid monitor, it doesnt appear to be 1080p, the picture seems like 480p and i had to mess with the settings forever to get the colors close to accurate, which is very important

It may be TN, but I always found the viewing angles to be more than acceptable (for a TN), the colors were nice and vibrant, and response times were good as far as I could tell

At this point, I have the color and brightness set at tolerable levels, but I also miss my old monitor.

If you want to get consistent color across devices, pull up the color bar graphic on a new iPad or on a MacBook with retina display, and sit it next to this monitor, and then make menu adjustments to get this monitor to look as consistent as you can (it'll get really close
