We have had this router for 3 years and had great speed and coverage until recent firmware

I’m getting much faster speeds on my WiFi and great signal!

We connect about 3 laptops + 1 PS4, and still will get a good to fine speed

Absolutely wonderful product, great Anyenna coverage and super high speed which is by no means different from wired connection.

Rock solid for 2 months so far, high speeds, nothing to complain about.

If I need to discourage YouTube, I just slow the speed down to a trickle

However if you were like me and experiencing vastly slower wifi speeds than quoted from your provider, I would highly suggest this product

Again, I wasn't thinking along those lines when I bought this router, but since it has the option it would have been nice to have some decent speed, it's a huge bottleneck.

If you need decent speed on a decent internet connection over moderate distance, OR if you need to extend the range of an existing wireless network by a few hundred feet, this is the ticket

After the last firmware update I've noticed an extreme drop in temperature and idle CPU speed - it used to run at 100% most of the time, now it is 1-5 % most of the time

Used it as a Wireless Access Point rather than a range extender which I found had slower connection speed compared to an access point

Worked well for the first 2 months, although did require resetting a few times as it would have extremely slow download speeds on occasion.

What I missed were the QOS settings, which prioritized traffic on my slower internet speeds.

No drops in signal, relatively easy to set up and is able to send out my fast internet speed with little to no delay.

I had to manually reset it at least once every day and even then I would not post good speeds

Uploading new firmware didn't do it and after a few Spectrum guys coming in, changing cables and work around stuff that never improved internet speed they finally stumbled upon the culprit

Now beware the speed of your internet is limited to your provider, so if you are only provided 15mb from your provider you will only get that 15mb
