It's a pretty good set, but lacks some features I want in a cordless phone.

I like AT&T products, and I think this is a fancy set for the price, but maybe too fancy if all you need is an answering machine.

This isn't the most feature rich phone set, but it's also not the most expensive

maybe I got a bad set

2nd set had the worst trouble with the intercom from like 3 months after i copped 'em... rode it out for about a year ... and i got fed up

AT&T could not trouble shoot.

Called the 800 AT&T number to help and they could not figure out what was wrong with the phones so asked me to mail them back for replacement.
