AT&T TR1909 Trimline Corded Phone with Caller ID, White

    • I was blaming the caller for this because he kept calling me on his cell phone.
    • To bad just for that one thing it would have made a nice caller ID phone.
    • The caller ID works on batteries, so it will even work when the power is out
    • The caller ID display is not bright enough to read, even with contrast set on max setting.
    • I bought two of these phones and both of had completely dead "Caller ID display" within a few days
    • The sound quality is excellent and the caller ID is easy to read.
    • having been getting a large number of nuisance calls so wanted caller
    • so I have a landline, and this little phone is perfect for that - and has a nice bright caller ID screen.
    • Needless to say, we screen every call, thus caller ID is a critical feature to me.
    • The sound quality is good and caller ID is handy.
    • This has caller id and works well.
    • If the caller ID display would light up like the photo shown in the description
    • Phone worked, but caller ID didn't.
    • I'm glad I haven't gotten rid of my old phones, but caller ID would help.
    • Awkward to use, the caller ID is not clear and is on the side opposite from the dialing buttons
    • Love the caller ID and the cord lid long but not too long
    • No flashes bells and whistles, just a phone with great sound and caller idRead more
    • I also like the Caller ID on the handset.
    • Didn't like that caller ID lines are so small
    • Works fine, but caller ID is not compatible with Cox.
    • Otherwise the phone works fine including the caller id.
    • The problem he has with it is the caller ID screen
    • It has good sound quality and the caller ID function is nice
    • Awkward to use, the caller ID is not clear and is on the side opposite from the dialing buttons
    • This phone is perfect for this purpose, cheap, caller ID and an added measure of safety for my family.
    • This phone worked for about 2 weeks and then the caller ID stopped working
    • The phone still worked, but the caller ID screen went out, and even after replacing the batteries still did not work.
    • After a few uses, the top caller ID info disappeared.
    • Is what you'd expect for the price, very light and with a tinny ring and the LED CALLER ID SCREEN IS SO PALE AND SMALL
    • Pretty much as expected caller ID helps when identifying unknown callers and those who try to block their number.
    • After a few months, the audio quality is still fine, my problem is that caller ID no longer functions.
    • I installed new, premium Duracell batteries and with the result being that the caller ID worked for about 2 days.
    • The caller ID window quit working about 18 months after we bought this phone.
    • Has redial and stored phone nr memory, as well as caller ID
    • Quite simply, the caller ID function does not work.
    • The biggest negatives I can say about it is the Caller ID LCD display is small and hard to read, the display and buttons aren't illuminated, and it takes 4 AA batteries (to power the LCD display, memory, and "in use" light)
    • Other complaint is that the Caller ID is not back lit, very difficult to see and I have to tip the phone toward the light source to read before answering
    • Love the caller ID
    • In addition, the caller ID works from a small, long lasting, contained battery.
    • Cheap and exactly what I wanted, as I like to have a land line phone in every bedroom.
    • The display doesn't glow as it appears to in the photo, but has dark numbers/letters on a lighter background
    • Of course, there is a chance I got a bad one, but nonetheless, I just don't have the time to return it to the store, and I probably threw out the receipt anyway, thinking I could trust an AT&T product.
