Great affordable corded phone

Unfortunately the cord doesn't seem to work

While the name "High Quality Corded Phone" seems a bit presumptuous, this is, in fact, the best quality corded phone I have found in recent years

I was looking for a small (space-wise) corded phone that I could use when the power went out, (remote phones don't work without power) and this one does work for this.

so if this is going to be a primary phone, I would try to get something a bit more substantial since this one is so light the whole base moves wildly every time you twist the cord

Just needed a cheap, corded phone for the basement.

I like having one corded landline phone in the house since it usually works when the power goes out.

It's difficult to find decent corded phones anymore.

The handset to phone curl cord, thankfully, could be changed since I like a long handset cord; I replaced it easily w/the one from my old phone

As other reviews have noted, the coiled cord from the handset to the base is not that long, but can easily be replaced with an inexpensive longer cord if needed.

Very good corded phone as a backup when power goes down.
