AT&T TR1909 Trimline Corded Phone with Caller ID, White

    • The phone works great however, its too light and when you tug on the cord the entire phone follows
    • It works okay, but the display is black and white and not high-lighted so a little difficult to read the caller's number.
    • The LCD window is difficult to read unless you are in bright light.
    • The lighting is poor not as visible as shown, hard to read the name and number of caller.
    • This is more than annoying. - Biggest problem I have is that I cannot see the display unless I'm standing right over the phone with a good light on.
    • Simple to setup, volumn is loud, but the display on rear of handset is so small, and light even with contrast all the way you need to view it in a bright light
    • the photo makes it look like it is back lit and it is NOT
    • The display has almost no contrast and even in bright light the LCD display cannot be read.
    • It also has a helpful little light that blinks when it or any other phone on the same line is in use.
    • It's a little tough to see the caller ID screen if the lighting isn't just right, but that is the price we paid
    • Would be nicer if caller ID window lit up, but it doesn't.
    • I attached a small button light, a "LRD Photon 11 LED Keychain Micro-light" ,on hand set cord so could shine on display
    • Didn't work, the "in use" light wouldn't turn off and no dial tone
    • The light isn't bright enough for the letters/numbers to "pop" and because they are the old-style monochrome LCD, you have to look at it directly to see clearly; they aren't visible from an angle
    • I especially love the indicator light on the back of the handset becausue it lets me
    • Too light (phone drags off desk), the display area does not illuminate upon incoming call - leaving the LCD display basically useless unless there is enough room light to see it - which is not generally desired when watching TV and such.
    • I have had AT&T phones like this before and they are great
    • I purchased this phone to replace my AT&T CL2940, which died in less than a year from the date of purchase.
    • AT&T support team could not fix it
