Product defective-didnt work at all and amazon will not pay for return shipping- what is ordering through amazon prime good for?

I have had AT&T phones like this before and they are great

I purchased this phone to replace my AT&T CL2940, which died in less than a year from the date of purchase.

AT&T support team could not fix it
