One thing that you should note: if you have NO signal around your home, this antenna will not work.

The antenna isn't very impressive-looking, but it WORKS and I get a very usable and reasonably fast connection with my Android tablet and phone, albeit far slower than the speed I get at home in NYC

Note: I gave this only three stars since the connector does not fit my device though the antenna is good

If you have dropped calls and weak signals I can tell you that this external antenna cured those problems for me.
