I wanted to have a free standing tower but it is to light weight
-
The stand is sturdy, and if need be, it can even mount to the wall with very little effort
-
I’m glad this is a standing one you can also hang it on the wall option
-
It is sturdy, I have it free standing against wall and have not had any problem of it tipping over like some reviewers have had

THIS STAND FELL OVER
-
I tried to load up 80 CDs, but the stand was leaning so much it could tip over any second.
-
While it is designed to be free standing, it's not too stable; it sways a bit, and one has to be very careful loading it, or walking near it.
-
On the up-side, the stand *was* easy to assemble (taking only 1 minute).
-
it looks like nice & sturdy stand, it can just sit on the floor or be mounted to a wall
-
It can't be free standing, so I returned it.
-
I reckon they would be a bit wobbly if they were used free standing due to their height.
-
Also you can mount it on a wall or leave it free standing.
-
It goes particularly well with modern or contemporary décor and it lasts forever (mine's about two or three years old already)
