Good height and decent sized speaker base.

The 31 inch height places my KEF Q100 speakers at the right height when I am sitting on the couch.

The height is perfect for these speakers.

I chose these Atlantic Speaker Stands because they have the correct height and look well with existing furnishings

As others have mentioned, the height is not adjustable, only the angle of the piece that the speaker connects to can be rotated 45 degrees in either direction (this requires removing and re-adding a screw).

These hold my Martin Logan LX16's at the perfect height for listening
