Atlantic 77335799 Speaker Stands for Bookshelf Speakers up to 20 lbs - Pair (Black)

    • The hold my 6 lb Polk bookshelf speakers which have a base of 6 x 6 inches which is the same as the top plate of the stands
    • Also the top plate for both stands was off by about 5 to 10 degrees preventing the top plate from aligning with the bottom plate
    • the top plate was also misaligned on one stand, causing it to not be square with the base by a few degrees
    • The top plate screw holes were a little off so had to screw at an angle
    • One of the top plates fits askew but not really a big deal, I just placed the stand behind a chair.
    • The base is unweighted, the tube is unfilled, and the top plate is too small for a larger speaker than the B652 Air
    • The mounting plates can be articulated 45 degrees, thus the unique base of the Klipsch fit seamlessly.
    • Top plate could be a little bit larger
    • The top plate isn't always stare with the base.
    • Pillar - the paint on it is dark grey, as stated above, but the welding on the top plate and bottom don't quite align so after assembly the top plate ends up being a little bit off by a few degrees sideways
    • The only improvement would be to offer different size top plates.
    • The large tube has a big open for the speaker wires and the top plate can be rotated in 15 degree increments relative to the base
    • the top plate was also misaligned on one stand, causing it to not be square with the base by a few degrees
    • My only disappointment being the top plate does not lineup to the base using the holes drilled for lock down
    • They are available from Madisound and Parts Express.- Make a larger top plate and bolt it to the preexisting one
    • There are multiple holes to allow you to angle the top speaker plate
    • The plates did not line up, nor did one one of the screws fit securely to hold the top plate, and one of the plastic spike feet broke off because it did not properly fit into the base, all problems identified in other reviews.
    • The speaker cable could be run down the hollow support tube through the large hole a few Inches below the top plate and down the tube and out below the base
    • Top plate - these are 5" x 5" with holes for mini spikes if you want your speakers resting on spikes.
    • My only disappointment being the top plate does not lineup to the base using the holes drilled for lock down
