The trick is to use a set of pliers to bend OUT the part of the bracket "rails" near the speaker plug towards the bottom, and bend IN the bracket "rails" in the middle where you attach the screw and washer to the back of the speaker

I wish the washer was a little bigger to help ensure it was holding on to the bracket, but it will do the job transforming to your needs if you spend a few minutes going back and forth with squeezing the bracket rails inward in the middle where the screw goes and pushing the bracket rails outward towards the bottom where the speaker plug/cable goes

If you're paranoid about the bracket rails popping out from around the screw washer, there is thick double-sided tape included in the stand accessories to attach to the bottom of the speakers that sit on top of the stands

The feet of the stands curve upwards from the floor so feeding the wire under the feet don't cause any leaning or instability b/c it has space between the floor

The only modifications I made to these stands was I slightly bent the longer brackets (shorter ones are too short and will not work) to accommodate the plug where it connects to the speaker rear using some pliers and then I gave a slight pinch above that spot so that the wire bracket would snuggly hug the screw that came with the VIZIO speakers (I used the rubber washer included with speaker stands, you need to punch centers out as they appear solid but they are perforated and ready to be punched out)

Unfortunately, this required me to use the included adhesive strips, as well as to use several strips of tape to hold the speakers in place

I loved this as it is rigid and sturdy steel pipe which is stable as well as to hold speakers

For the money it's a good product that works as it should I would give this product an overall rating of 4 stars, has been good to me

The price is excellent!!!I like the heavy bases

My speakers had a screw hole, but the bolt included did not fit and even if it did, the adjustable L-shaped bracket would have stuck out in front of the speaker

You can also easily loop the speaker wire through the pole and then through the L-Shaped top piece
