I did knock 1 star because it would be nice for hardware that didn't need any modifications, but for the price I'm really happy with these stands.

I am cutting one star, just because for the item price, it wouldn't hurt the company to include three or four sets of screws that are commonly used for speakers

The other set I'd give 2 stars because the middle tightener thing broke on it's first use...which again may be my fault as I tightened it pretty tight

One warning I will give for all those home theater enthusiasts looking for the perfect fit for your speakers: be advised there are two small quirks that led me to take off one star from my review instead of giving a perfect five star rating

I rate these four stars because the quality of the stands is good, but a little annoying that we had to make the minor adjustments

Surround sound...had to make some adjustments to the wire clamps in back, but it's not worth losing a star over.

The only modifications I made to these stands was I slightly bent the longer brackets (shorter ones are too short and will not work) to accommodate the plug where it connects to the speaker rear using some pliers and then I gave a slight pinch above that spot so that the wire bracket would snuggly hug the screw that came with the VIZIO speakers (I used the rubber washer included with speaker stands, you need to punch centers out as they appear solid but they are perforated and ready to be punched out)

Unfortunately, this required me to use the included adhesive strips, as well as to use several strips of tape to hold the speakers in place

I loved this as it is rigid and sturdy steel pipe which is stable as well as to hold speakers

For the money it's a good product that works as it should I would give this product an overall rating of 4 stars, has been good to me
