Audio-Technica AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Belt-Drive Stereo Turntable, Silver

    • I would not know if it works correctly, because we went to hook it up and the speakers that were shown other customers bought with it are not compatible
    • Believe it or not, this has a much better speaker than the Crosley/Ion/Jenson ones, and hence, better sound quality
    • It plays wonderful, we also ordered the recommended amplifier and speakers
    • Just be sure that when you order it, you have a pair of speakers to hook up to it (any cheap computer speakers will work), as it is barely listenable on its own
    • The automatic arm works great, and the sound quality--even out of our small, inexpensive computer speakers--is fantastic
    • I plugged it into a Bose portable speaker and it's perfect.
    • Has a pre-amp and all the connectors you need, so if you don't have fancy speakers you can just hook it up to computer or phone speakers (anything with one of those 3.5mm audio input jacks)
    • Assembled and hooked up to a portable speaker in 10 minutes.
    • I have it paired with the Logitech Z313 speakers (good sounding speakers for the money), no problem delivering great sound
    • Easy to use and sounds great on fine speakers!
    • I have an older ADCOM component system with some decent Wharfdale Modus eight speakers and sub woofer that have been used for analog music for years.

    • I need better speakers...

    • Plays beautifully, I just wish it came with built in speakers, I found a relatively portable speaker set but it would be nice to have them built in
    • I have quite a record collection and nice speakers, but by no means at I an audiophile
    • Just hook it up to the right speaker and voila.. you've got the best music experience at an affordable price
    • There are no wiring instructions with the recommended amp or speakers
    • The sound is good but it's not too loud (maybe I have to improve my receiver and speakers)
    • Nice basic turntable for my daughter, hooked up decent speakers and a receiver
    • The music comes out superb given a decent receiver and speakers which are not hard to come by
    • We can't wait to invest in nicer speakers to see how great this thing really is
    • If you want to spend $500 on better speakers, go for itFor a total of $200, it's a deal
    • , I have some better speakers on my Christmas list, though.
    • I'm not even using amazing speakers and the sound quality is amazing!
    • Do I have to have speakers with this machine to boost the sound
    • I purchased some fairly inexpensive speakers from Logitech to go with the Audio Technica turntable and they sound so so so good
    • My second pick was the Micca PB42X powered bookshelf speakers, and although they are not a loud as the Arions, they are a great little speaker set
    • I have a relatively good speaker set up (Klipsch Reference Bookshelf speakers and a Polk Audio sub), and this just uses them to their full potential
    • You can use your computer speakers until you save up money for better speakers.
    • Be sure you have a receiver (speaker system) or some other capability as this is only an input device for a larger sound system.
    • If you've been getting your music on Spotify or Pandora or ITunes for a while, listening to this (with $100 Edifier speakers) is like rediscovering music
    • I had originally bought the "Logitech Speaker System Z323 with Subwoofer" because it was a lower priced option, but when it came time to hook it all up to my turntable, it didn't work because those speakers are passive speakers
    • We live in a small apartment so after extensive research we found the perfect speakers and you will be surprised but trust me they sound INCREDIBLE
    • I suspect that a better setup (receiver and speakers) would have even better results
    • We weren't aware that you need to get speakers to make this work.
    • Connected to his already impressive speakers this player is great!
    • I paired it with a cheap set of Insignia 2.1 speakers I bought for $29 at Best Buy and everyone at her party was blown away by the sound quality
    • So, you need additional things to get passive speakers to work

    • Right now it is hooked up to a small portable speaker which is working better than I thought it would, but I would still like a decent speaker system to go along with it.
    • It took all of 5 minutes to set up, and sounds great even through my crappy old computer speakers
    • I connected it to an old Bose portable speaker and it sounds pretty good
    • I still love this turntable and speakers
    • Save yourself time and (in my case, many) headache(s) and learn from us

    • For the price, it's about as great as you are going to get
    • I mistakenly had it set incorrectly and was wondering why my system didn't sound as loud and crisp as an
    • Pros:- Works as
    • The last in this series of unfortunate events with this record player is that it began to drag records as they played
    • This thing is a total piece of junk, if you care about your records at all do not buy this thing, and to be honest as cheaply as it's
    • Everything works as it should, and I'm glad that I can play records with the cover down, as my apartment gets dusty when I have the windows open.
    • You are limited as to speaker placement
