The internal pre amp can stand toe to toe with more expensive units.

Otherwise it seems to be a good solid unit and it's nice that I can transfer my vinyl to mp3 if I want to as well.

It is a very good unit - well balanced - and produces a very high quality sound !!

The unit was easy to set-up, It is a nice looking unit and it has some features that the other units did not have

When I emailed customer service about this, they said I was "mistaken", that the unit was fine, and that I didn't know what I was doing

but it does not work with my PC, hence this unit

Unfortunately, this unit has no obvious method for correcting via speed adjustment screws, and support only said I could either buy a replacement motor ($5) or send them back the unit for repair if replacing the belt didn't work

The new unit does not have the high pitched noise through the USB and so far seems fine

Purely as a turntable, this is a satisfactory unit comparable to any other at the $50 to $80 range

However, with my tinnitus and hereditary hearing loss, this is the perfect unit for converting all those old albums to files I can play in my Tesla

It is, however, much better than the units I saw and considered before I saw this one, so again, this is far better than some of the Crosley units, and the Jensen units, I looked at.

If you are an aficionado, I recommend this unit as a starter for kids who missed the analog days.

I rate the unit four and half stars, however, as there are no halves here, I’ll have to go with four stars, as I believe no unit you can purchase is perfect, unless you spend $$$$$, which this man doesn’t have, and cannot afford.

Summarily, the limitation of needing an internet connection, or getting the “Lame” software to be used in conjunction with the Audacity software at a place where you can download it, or download it onto a CD-R disc, is a minus, however, over all, a decent unit for a moderately priced investment.

That having been said, the turntable performs as well as any belt driven unit I have ever owned

It’s a decent unit for a decent price, although nothing super-fancy, it does the job, as many allude to in their reviews.

If we want something that’s gonna have all the bells and whistles, we will have to invest a lot of money, but for absolute basics, this is a pretty-good unit for the price I paid.
