I work in the sports media world and was adding a weekly recap talk show, I had some other cheaper usb mics in the past and wanted a better fuller sound for the new recordings but didn't want to venture from the ease of a USB mic

The no-driver disk needed easy USB setup was a breeze.

I was worried about large audio degragation problems using the usb over the xlr but it works really well.

I should say that this is the best USB mic you can find online, but please do not choose it if you want to sing in some app on cellphone
