This wouldn't be a big deal with a detachable AUX cable, but alas, this isn't the case

Cons are the cable that wants to stay coiled & doesn't relax after time

So why 2 stars well the cable, i have to say the worst cable i have ever had the "pleasure" of dealing with

These sound great,but IMO the cable is a big negative, why not a detachable

I wish they had a better cable like the original tan colored ATH-AD700 but for this price it's still excellent

The other issue is the cable, you cant disconnect it and the cable is absurdly long

The only let down is a non-detachable cable.

and the fact that it doesn't have a detached cable(can be modded for a detachable cable)

I do love that cable though.

If you are looking for something that DOES have replaceable cables, the MH50X's do, but they are a bit less comfortable.

It's a great cable; I'm just annoyed that the cable is not detachable

In the end, these are an excellent pair of headphones, that would get 5 stars if they had a removable/replaceable cable

And then for sound coming into the headphones, when nothing is playing you can hear your surroundings just as well as you could wearing no headphones at all
