While listening to these at work, keystrokes, background noises, even my desk phone were completely drowned out, and I am not one that listens to loud blaring music either

Nice comfortable design, over ear, great for long listening times; blocks out a good quantity of background noise without noise-reduction tech

I wanted something that was comfortable to wear on long flights (6+ hours), were easy to pack/transport, reduced background noise, and had a good sound quality

I wear these at work and they really block out background noise

NTG-2 they work perfectly and allow me to adjust my settings according to the atmosphere much better than before (where I was, essentially, just eyeballing it from experience).In the editing room, they work almost TOO well, as I found myself concerned about what I deemed to be excessive background noise, but later found out was not an issue when run through regular speakers

Only negative is that background noise tends to leak in pretty easily even when I have this on and my ears fully enclosed.

Also the ear cups drown out most background noise but not enough for the price.

Maybe true audiophiles would not to so impressed as I was but for me at this price point I am happy

Great headphones, my old headphones broke down after being with me for 2 years and wanted to try out a pair, but beware these pair are made with a plastic body in mind and if taken outside, take caution as plastic is not as strong as you think

I really love Audio technica as they have professional-level products at reasonable prices for enthusiats

I have had these headphones for a year, using them to listen to music on my iPad and iPhone as well as on my computer and also plugged into my stereo receiver

I highly recommend them as they are a very good value for the price.
