Nice full bass but not overwhelming like some other brands

Probably as pleasing as the M40X. M50X will have more clarity in range but lack some bass in comparison.

but the bass is just stronger due to the larger driver.

Their bass was not as good as these Audio Technica's, and the mid-mid's in the Status Audio phones had a bone-rattling resonance when I listened to them.

Bass isn't very powerful in these headphones, but with the use of an equalizer you should be fine if you like bass

I highly recommend these 30X's if you want clear,clean sound with accurate bass response.

On top of this, when they DO work, the bass is little more than a deep, disorienting rumbling in the cans- no discernible notes

I’ve noticed that some devices just don’t have enough power to drive these headphones to their full capacity and so the bass is lacking (this is especially true on my smartphone), however, on the right device their default calibration is the perfect mix of treble, bass and mid, with just enough oomph

My M50x's are much better for producing, editing and mixing because they have blood flowing in them - those big magnets producing excellent bass

Great headphones, my old headphones broke down after being with me for 2 years and wanted to try out a pair, but beware these pair are made with a plastic body in mind and if taken outside, take caution as plastic is not as strong as you think

I have had these headphones for a year, using them to listen to music on my iPad and iPhone as well as on my computer and also plugged into my stereo receiver
