Audio-Technica ATH-M30x Professional Studio Monitor Headphones, Black

    • Nice full bass but not overwhelming like some other brands
    • they have a nice bass and a excellent relation price/quality
    • Probably as pleasing as the M40X. M50X will have more clarity in range but lack some bass in comparison.
    • but the bass is just stronger due to the larger driver.
    • Great price with a great bass and no batteries like the Beats.
    • Wonderful, clear sound with a surprisingly nice bass output
    • They have great range, good bass, and are clear of static or background noise
    • The bass is solid, but less pronounced than M40x and less dark than the M50x
    • Bass blew out in the middle of a Lil yatchi tune
    • The bass is full, but not overpowering and the mids and highs are incredibly crisp and well defined
    • I must say upon first listen these have incredible detail and the bass is very accurate
    • The bass isn't overkill, yet it's still there
    • However hardcore bassheads might not find these satisfying and I would recommend other headphones such as the Audio Technica Solid Bass line or something
    • Awesome BASS for lower priced headset excellent ergonomics too
    • First off the bass is overblown and over exaggerated making listening painful after a short while
    • Rating: 4/5Pros:• Extremely comfortable• Very balanced sound• Super build quality• Gorgeous designCons:• Bass is a bit lacking on lower
    • Their bass was not as good as these Audio Technica's, and the mid-mid's in the Status Audio phones had a bone-rattling resonance when I listened to them.
    • Bass isn't very powerful in these headphones, but with the use of an equalizer you should be fine if you like bass
    • I highly recommend these 30X's if you want clear, clean sound with accurate bass response.
    • On top of this, when they DO work, the bass is little more than a deep, disorienting rumbling in the cans- no discernible notes
    • These headphones have good construction , clear mids, decent bass, and can get very loud on my laptop and iphone.
    • I like the even response and clear bass
    • Bass could be better (but you can buy their more expensive versions for the too).
    • Quick and Dirty Review:-Comfortable to wear for hours.-Long cable means you don't have to kiss your receiver.-Good bass and not muffled.
    • Overall sound is a big step up for me as I have never heard such great clarity and also such bass too
    • Great sound and great bass
    • I need my good bass with no tinny sound whatsoever and the Audio-Technica ATH-M30X pretty much meets my love of listening to my heavy metal or hard rock music loud
    • Good bass and comfortable headphones.
    • but it seems likely that will break.otherwise it really does sound great, deep bass and a very comfortable fit.
    • Just remember they are studio headphones so your bass will be a little straightforward
    • These headphones provide a nice sound with clear highs and good bass response
    • and they definitely produce nice tight bass
    • Bass is clean but not thumping
    • Would have appreciated a bit more bass though.
    • I prefer a crisp note rather than a lot of muddy bass and the Audio-Technica delivers.
    • Great bass and overall sound quality
    • Everything was pretty and melodies were being delivered to my ears with celestial sharpness and mighty bass until the right speaker died along with its warranty coverage period of 2
    • Don't expect crazy bass or anything like that with these.-These have a relatively long, straight cable that can make portability a bit of a struggle
    • The bass is great, and I can feel the different layers of different instruments sound when I listen to classic music
    • It has decent bass
    • First, what I like: solid, clear, sound, fairly deep bass response for the price/quality, long cord, and the comfort as they fit over my ears
    • Great sound, solid bass
    • The tight bass on these cans can be unappealing to others who enjoy a deeper stronger punch out of their base - Not a great pair of cans for
    • The bass is solid and a high-end clean
    • Others have noted that bass wasn't that powerful, and they are right, but that doesn't concern me, as the rich sound they deliver is well above the average sound produced from regular headphones
    • A more fuller sounding bass would be nice, but that would defeat the purpose of accurate studio monitoring that these headphones are meant for
    • Sound is solid with good bass and tone for metal/rock.
    • Bass is adequate and
    • The best and the beast .. Go ahead with these headphones and you don't go wrong but but do keep in your mind that this won't pump extreme or heavy bass like Dr dre by beats or Bose but trust me these pump perfect bass and depth of bass is accurate not overly powered
    • If sound quality is your concern over price, the M50x is superior with better bass, separation, and a fuller sound
    • Too much bass, it justs gets muddy and thick
    • Midrange is defined, bass is adequate, high is not as harsh sounding after worn in.
    • Good bass.
    • Im listing to some JC and its all good ! good bass, mids and highs
    • Clear highs great mids and tight bass
    • Good midtones and treble out of the box, and with a little bit of equalizing, they have good bass response too
    • Great highs, great mids, and deep bass.
    • The sound is outstanding, it produces rich and powerful bass and the highs are really crisp
    • Compared to the last headphones I had, the bass seems a little weaker but the experience of listening to music with these is very satisfactory
    • Cons:-The bass is good but there is too much bass
    • It's comfortable to wear for long coding stretches and the sound quality is excellent with adequate bass and high reproduction
    • I’ve noticed that some devices just don’t have enough power to drive these headphones to their full capacity and so the bass is lacking (this is especially true on my smartphone), however, on the right device their default calibration is the perfect mix of treble, bass and mid, with just enough oomph
    • I have to say it delivers crisp sounds, good bass, and the sounds surrounds your head- one feels that one is front of the studio that recorded the songs- also the singer's voice sounds very clear
    • Great range .. very nice mids and bass
    • Even though the bass isn't heavy, don't let that detract you from these as music is very clear and the bass is enough
    • My budget AKG tracking cans perform much better, but tend to lack bass
    • There is no bass, and the high end distorts at any volume above low
    • They have absolutely brilliant clarity and good bass; however, if you are expecting bass that makes your head shake, then these aren't for you, they still have great bass just not overpowering
    • The audiophile won't be satisfied, as the basses are bit muddied and the high trebles are a bit shrill
    • Bass is great for the price
    • You can get plenty of bass from them if you fiddle with your equalizer, but if you like overwhelming, muddy bass then buy something with more marketing or gimmick.

    • My M50x's are much better for producing, editing and mixing because they have blood flowing in them - those big magnets producing excellent bass
    • (good bass)
    • Good bass response
    • good bass
    • Great sound quality and good bass
    • Great clarity, needs more bass
    • I describe the sound as very smooth, no blaring treble or booming bass, no distortion, just nice and smooth
    • Beats headphones have overpowering and muddy bass
    • The Bass is tooo distorted.....just got em for a quick replacement
    • Ok so 100% amazing headphone but no bass only down fall
    • although.can change it by bass booster or just messing with the EQ
    • These are comfier and sound much much better with more detail and clear bass
    • The bass is very well
    • Cons:-The bass is good but there is too much bass
    • Both have a really nice bass
    • I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the frequency response is just as good, the bass is very strong and if anything that these headphones actually sound better! They are substantially lighter than the M50s which makes them much, much more comfortable
    • Maybe true audiophiles would not to so impressed as I was but for me at this price point I am happy
    • Great headphones, my old headphones broke down after being with me for 2 years and wanted to try out a pair, but beware these pair are made with a plastic body in mind and if taken outside, take caution as plastic is not as strong as you think
    • I really love Audio technica as they have professional-level products at reasonable prices for enthusiats
    • I have had these headphones for a year, using them to listen to music on my iPad and iPhone as well as on my computer and also plugged into my stereo receiver
    • I highly recommend them as they are a very good value for the price.
    • you will be happy buying these instead of the s***ty beats crap
