The cord's been closed in a car door, almost ripped out of my PC by my dogs (they actually messed the jack up real good, see pic), they've been tripped over because they have such a long cord, and they've been dropped numerous times

The cord for this thing is so long its annoying.

These are great headphones and I love them, they have great sound and a long cord and fit very well on the head and are comfortable

The cord is certainly long enough, and they ear portions fold up into the middle

These are obviously intended for studio applications as the fixed 3m cord is not really suitable for portable use.

I have never owned a pair of headphones that cost over $80 so I cannot compare to the very expensive brands, but as far as the $50 - $80 range, these sound great, they are comfortable, the cord is nice and long and I am very happy with the price for the quality and sound of these headphones.

I work in the music industry and really dig the fit, noise cancellation and cord on these.

Only downside is the cord is not detachable, that's it.

The cons: they can sometimes fold up awkwardly when you set them down, the lack of detachable cord coupled with the fact that the cord is extremely long can be annoying, and the lack of ability to fold flat against your shoulders can be cumbersome.

The sound is excellent when hooked into my PA system; the cord is nice and long unlike most headphones, and the 3.5mm headphone jack comes with its own 3.5mm to 6.3mm screw-on adapter; its comfortable to wear, and overall, its a great product

The 10' cord is long enough for use with your stereo/entertainment system, and the drivers are sensitive enough to use with your smartphone.

Hubby upgraded to the M40X because the cord length and inability to detach from the headset were bothersome.

Other than that, the cord is long enough, the ear cups are comfortable, might not fit larger ears though

That way you have the full range of motion for the swivel, and a replaceable cord if that part becomes worn

This long cord is perfect for sitting at my desk with the ability to move around

The only reason I'm giving it four stars is because the cord is VERY long and it can tangle quite easily.

The right driver of my unit failed first when its cord broke at the elbow; the cord leading to the left driver was starting to give, but had not yet completely separated

The cord is very very long, which is nice for playing music, as cords in the way of my hands has always frustrated me with earbuds.
