If someone is talking in the same room, you might be able to hear them, but anything past that (ambient noises, people in other rooms, etc.

The sound quality is very good and greatly reduces the ambient noise.

The ear cups still feel just as nice as when I bought them, and still create a good isolating space to enjoy the sounds being driven

I have never owned a pair of headphones that felt more sturdy and while I've only had them for a few weeks, they show very few signs of wear and tear and feel just as sturdy as when I took them out of the box

Considering similar priced noise cancelling and the quality is better, sound muffling nearly as good as my $300 Bose.

Thankfully, the flaking hasn't been as bad as with the usual budget headphones, but new earpads and a wool cover for the headband will have to be bought.
