Audio-Technica ATR-3350IS Omnidirectional Condenser Lavalier Mic with Smartphone Adapter

    • I tried a fresh battery and got the same disappointing results
    • Between the extended frequency response (many cheap mics that are similar to this sound muffled or dark), high output without distortion, sensitivity, extra long cable, splitter cable (worth almost $10 by itself), and internal battery (most lavalier mics do not work with certain laptops or phones that do not apply microphone power), you simply cannot go wrong on this
    • The batteries, however, are available at the dollar store
    • The battery on/off thing is annoying.
    • What a waste (plus the money wasted buying a new battery).
    • The On/Off switch is easy to get knocked into the wrong position while in your bag, etc (and thus draining your battery without you knowing).Doesn't come with windshield.
    • I killed my first battery by forgetting to turn that off.
    • I threw out the battery that came with it and replaced it with a nice shiny new name brand battery... still nothing.
    • My only gripe is the batteries
    • Tried a better new battery and no improvement
    • Battery was dead first time I went to use it
    • Battery is cheap to replace though
    • If you forget to turn off the mic, you'll drain the battery for sure
    • Brand new battery, tried a variety of applications, tried removing the iPhone adaptor and using it with my Olympus recorder, etc.
    • Put in the battery to test the microphone, and it's basically defective - you have to shout in order for you to even register audio.
    • Thinking that perhaps the battery was dead, I purchased a new battery and still got no sound out of the mic
    • It is very easy to forget to switch off the power, leaving you with a dead battery
    • Takes one LR-44 battery, available here on Amazon at popular prices.
    • Luckily batteries are not too difficult to find.
    • The only negative thing is there is no LED indicator that the power is on, so, after recording, if you get carried away and want to watch/listen to your new masterpiece, the battery will go and die
    • I use this mic with my GoPro as well as with my Nikon DSLR and the sound is always clean
    • don"t break
