I was put off by the idea of air vent mounts for a long time, I didn't like the idea that i had to sacrafice half of an air vent to put my phone there

while this is a great idea and may work for some people, i found this product to not work.

It seems like a good idea, that other vendors have implemented in similar ways, but I don't want the heat or air conditioning from the vent blocked by my phone!

The quality of the mount itself is pretty good and the idea of using magnets seems attractive and hassel

Got these for the kids and they love them i the car.

I have had different types of phone holders, the suction cup...which sucks as it falls off always

I've had the mount now for probably 5 months and it is still as strong as when I first bought it

I've even tried driving slow as to not make it fall, but nothing helped.

The mount held an iPhone 6 in a Speck Candyshell Grip case as well as in a New Trent LV6 case while going over potholes, curbs and other bumps with minimal problems and with no problems if you are very particular about placing the phone's 'sweet spot' on the mount for maximum magnetic pull.
