-
Was worried the magnet would mess up my phone, but it's not strong enough of a magnet to do so
-
Have not had a singe time where the phone would come loose and drop
-
my phone is happy, im happy
-
Your phone will overheat and shut down
-
Well madeComes with two pieces of adhesive metal shapes (1 round and 1 rectangular) to stick to your phone's case (NOT the phone)Holds very well through the bumpy streets of San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, Sacramento, South Tahoe, and all the other
-
My phone Never fell once when I used it in a rental car
-
BEST Phone Holder out there
-
I have an iPhone 6s Plus and the magnet slid down and my phone fell within 6-7 seconds with both the circular and rectangular magnets
-
I tried placing it on multiple places on the phone but the phone was unable to charge
-
The robber came off easy and did not hold up phone very good
-
The biggest problem I've had with this thus far is the big phones.
-
My phone became hot almost immediately and it started behaving oddly as a result of the heat
-
Phone continually fell off of magnet
-
Good to use but in the winter , hot air come out , phone also will get hot
-
This is the easiest cellphone holder I have ever used; I love being to slap my phone up without having to be particularly placed or clicked in and the magnet is strong enough to catch it.
-
I expect that I will continue to use it that way until smart phones become flip phones again (or fold-able video screens, or intracranial implants). So, for that use - a weighted phone tilter, 5/5.For the original product description use - a magnetic airvent car mount, 3/5.
-
Love how inconspicuous it is and how easy it is to slap the phone onto it or grab it as you leave
-
No longer losing my phone and keeps phone in view for GPS!
-
No problem, phone stays tight on the mount.
-
The phone completely fell off several times until I threw this piece of garbage in the trash.
-
My phone and my wife's phone both fell off constantly
-
Magnets are weak and my phone keeps wobbling around.
-
The care has longer vents, so my phone only blocks half of one, where as in the truck the phone blocks an entire vent, it's definitely not the products fault, but it's something to conside
-
Put your phone back into the case (don't worry, the sticky piece is
-
my phone falls off often while turning, but otherwise a great thing to
-
Better than any other gadget I've tried for hands free phone holder in vehicle
-
The magnet in the mount is easily strong enough to hold my phone in place even though the metal plate is mounted between the phone and its protective case.(I have the Spigen slim case and an iPhone 6), and even though its certainly not the biggest phone and it is a slim case there seems to be plenty more magnetic force than is needed therefore it could easily support a heavier phone and/or a thicker case
-
Phone sometimes falls off while driving if not perfectly secure (I have a Nexus 6p, a rather large phone)
-
It doesn't hurt the phone at all and if you use the GPS frequently, it's nice to not have to look down but to just give your phone a quick glance to see where you're heading.
-
This being a vent mount you have to be cautious about the heater and warming your phone to unsafe levels.
-
no longer need to put my phone on the dash and worry about it sliding off
-
My phone would still slip and even fall after hitting even a minor bump in the road
-
I'm now using a $10 phone from Wal-Mart until I can afford another Iphone.
-
Wont hold the phone, magnet not strong enough.
-
A short time later I traded that in for a Wrangler (no, not just because of the vent issue), and the vents held fine, but placement had my phone too low and I would knock it off when shifting the manual transmission
-
When in place, the phone is not secure and falls off.
-
For those who enjoy their previous phone to go around naked (no car) the only downside is you will have to put up with the magnet on your phone, which really doesn't look ask that great
-
my phone doesn't fall at all during my driving, be it on sharp turns or freeway speed.
-
And the third is that by nature of where it's placed on the vent, and my living in new england during the winter, my heat vent is cranking so the phone gets very hot at times
-
Works great phone stays put.
-
Also the magnet touching the phone did leave a small scratch on the back of the phone over time
-
Best phone Holder for your car... got a 2nd unit because of it ease of use.
-
I've used it on my Galaxy S4 (with a case) and my iPhone 6S Plus (with case) - and it has no problem holding both phones securely.
-
Holds the phone, doesn't interfere with the phone and sticks on the air vents and, so far, survived the bumpy roads
-
As an added bonus, in the warmer weather, my phone gets cooled by the AC while it charges.
-
My phone has fallen off of my dash twice as the base doesn't really grip as hard as I was hoping
-
The magnet is not strong enough my phone keeps falling off on the floor I would never recommend this product the phone
-
These are super handy and are perfect for quick mounting you phone in your car.
-
I put clip on my air vent in the car and my phone seems to hold fine EXCEPT when I drive over bumps, on occasion the phone may fall off the magnetic clip which is a bit irritating because it could get lost under the seat while driving
-
Excellent phone holder, very sturdy
-
I was stuck using it with the phone angled downward, usable.. but not ideal
-
My most favorite phone mount
-
The best, most versatile mobile phone car mount I have ever used.
-
I was concerned about the metal scratching my phone and decided I wanted to remove it well
-
However, taking the magnet off didn't damage our phones at all!
-
Really a great phone holder.
-
Great, inexpensive phone holder
-
No more losing my phoned down in my seat
-
If I hit a big bump in the car, the phone might fall, but works well for the most part
-
No problem using phone in either landscape or portrait mode
-
Very strong magnet which holds a phone no problem
-
We drove for 2 hours the other day and my phone didn't slip or fall at all, not even once
-
The clip part fit snugly over the air vent and held well, and the magnet had no problem holding the phone to the clip
-
I did not support my phone with a case on it, and my case is as thin as they come
-
Any bump or turn and the phone would fall off
-
Simply put the holder in your air vent and slap the metal plate in phone case and boom!
-
I tested this Mount out in my boxster and i placed the metal plate inside the case and it holds my phone so solid and strong
-
He has an IPhone 6+ and this magnet still holds his phone up like a champ, 4 months and counting!
-
My phone hasn't fallen off, despite a couple bumps that I have hit in the road.
-
My phone never fell down once it is stick to the holder
-
I love it, the phone gets stuck on the magnet and doesn't even move!!!
-
When using this product and charging my phone wirelessly, my phone gets extremely hot and the battery discharges instead of charging .AUKEY offered a Refund in return for removal of this review
-
so I'm kind of worried about my phone getting hot.
-
One con is that the phone gets really hot when my heat in the car is on, but in the summer it'll be cool.
-
My phone with a case keeps falling off
-
If I hit a big bump in the car, the phone might fall, but works well for the most part
-
as simple as this solution is, it is the best phone holder in the market
-
I also did not like that the plate would have scratched my phone unless I put some tape on it or something to protect it
-
The phone has been solid against the magnet, whether the phone is mounted vertically or horizontally
-
With our iOttie OneTouch 2, it didn't seem to grasp the phone correctly for some reason, and in multiple situations the phone became like a missile in the middle of a drive.
-
After using, I don't like the concept of a vent mounted phone holder
-
but my phone was perfectly fine and then two days on the
-
This is now my favorite phone holder and I bought one for every vehicle I drive.
-
An added benefit is that the phone remains cool because it is mounted in front of the A/C vents.
-
I bough this as a trial, to see if I would need a more expensive phone mount - it turns out this is perfectly adequate.
-
My phone BARELY stays on and the slightest bump knocks it off into the floor.
-
When attempting to use my iPhone 6 Plus (no case, just magnet), the phone falls off the magnet.
-
Hands free phone use at eye level
-
The Larger magnet is fairly strong and seems like it can handle any phone with a light weight case.
-
But if your vents are positioned any way slightly in from the casing then your phone will not reach the magnets on this holder.... but if your vents protrude or are flush with the casing around them.. then this will work perfectly
-
The magnet clips perfectly onto the vent and does not pull of when you pull your phone off (like other cradles I've tried)
-
but I love having my phone where I can see it!
-
My phone hasn't ever fallen off.
-
My phone fell off every time there was even a minor bump in the road
-
Holds her phone steady on even bumpy roads.
-
I had been looking for a good phone mount for such a long time
-
The phone stays attached through any swerve or bump the car may encounter, and when the phone isn't attached, the mount is discrete and out of the way, and doesn't block as much air as my previous solution did
-
My phone never falls.
-
good phone holder
-
The magnet hold works great with the Nexus 5, the alignment magnets for the Qi built into the phone holds strong on the phone with no case, so strong it pulled the mount off the vent slightly.2
-
The magnet is a little weak and my phone will fall off sometimes if I break or turn too quickly, but for the price this thing is great.
-
I highly recommend you turn the vent off that you use for this as you don't want to overheat your phone in the winter months.
-
Several times a turn or just randomly my phone would fall off it and land under my feet while I was driving
-
I was worried about vent mounted phone holders, and how strong the magnetism would be,
-
Best phone holder ever
-
Works great, can hold a large phone (I have a Pixel XL in a case) and is so convenient.
-
My wife's vents however (2014 Subaru Outback) are a bit smaller than the clip likes so her phone will angle down
-
The magnet is strong and it holds my phone even though the heavy bumps.
-
Phone has to be sideways with center vents, but can be vertical with left vent (phone is long and dash gets in the way)
-
good quality vent phone holders with strong attach and easy to use phone backings
-
Can that damage the phone?
-
Awesome phone holder for my work van and car.
-
Absolutely the best phone holder
-
in the case of one of my vehicles, the mount will wiggle itself free from the fin long before it loses the phone
-
Bigger phones (e.g. iPhone 7 Plus) hang on but not too well
-
I initially placed the magnet inside the case, but it wasn't strong enough to support my phone's weight
-
The magnet holds strong, my phone doesn't move or fall even on bumpy country roads around where I live.
-
super strong, my cell phone a 5c in with a folding wallet cases (4 credit cards + cash)
-
Might purchase another one for our other car, and I would absolutely recommend this little item for anyone needing to hang their phone in the car
-
Awesome product holds my phone like a champ
-
great product and keeps my phone right where i want it.
-
I placed the magnet between my case and phone and works just as good.
-
A really heavy or large phone will have a tough time staying attached, but anything smaller than a phablet will work fine.
-
Unfortunately my phone went sideways and my phone fell off.
-
The round plate seems too small to support a phone of any substantial size
-
This Aukey magnetic holder is hands down the absolute easiest accessory ever - it just happens to secure the phone to the vent, LOL.
-
These are the perfect addition to your smart phone case and in car.
-
The phone sometimes falls off the magnet and the vent clip occasionally comes loose but I have a heavy otter box on so that may have something to do with it.
-
Not very strong, my phone always full down when I drive !!
-
Once you develop the proper rocking motion to free your phone it isn't really an issue
-
good quality vent phone holders with strong attach and easy to use phone backings
-
I am pleased to say the new model did solve my issues and mounts the phone very secure to the vent and in clear sight while I drive.
-
Best phone holder I've ever used
-
Note that the price paid for the convenience of this mount is that the air exiting the vent will hit the phone first
-
It is fine, but if your phone (such as my 2015 Moto G) has a magnetic sensor associated with a flip cover, and you can't disable the sensor, this won't work because when you mount it the phone will be fooled into thinking you are closing the cover and will therefore dim the screen
-
Works better than I thought (my phone is a smaller smart phone (not a Phablet)).
-
I can't stand a flimsy phone mount
-
I ordered 2, they are pretty neat magnetic phone holders, and the magnet also works with the niteize magnet I have on my phone.
-
Holds my phone up for the most part, but going over big bumps in the road will knock it off the mount.
-
Well made effective solution to securing cell phone in vehicle
-
I feel like your phone will overheat from the heated air vs. AC during the summer.
-
I would not pay much ($7?) for this because there are no instructions -- i.e. advice on how to best deploy -- and eventually your precious phone will come crashing down
-
I had passed on the iOttie mount to my girlfriend's car, which is perfect because she has a work phone and a personal phone, then when we're together, I'm driving so my phone is up there
-
but I am still searching for the "right" hands-free phone holder for my vehicle
-
Actually probably most phones will be just fine.
-
My phone has overheated several times because I am unable to turn my vent off when using this and having the heat on
-
This is without doubt the best way to connect your smart phone
-
As far as the mount goes it's definitely awesome and it does indeed look like your phone is floating
-
Best phone holder, bought a second unit
-
In the summer it's great because my phone is nice and cool right in front of the cool AC air.
-
I have been looking for something simple to keep my phone handy in the car
-
But, the magnet, not being strong enough, will not hold the phone well enough to stay in place
-
About the best phone holder I've had
-
Phone sometimes falls off while driving if not perfectly secure (I have a Nexus 6p, a rather large phone)
-
Holds my hefty cell phone with Otter Box case with no problems
-
Like it, holds my phone (LG G2) well even on rough roads, convenient, easy to install and move from one car to another, but inexpensive enough to buy one for each car, but... one significant drawback: if your whole vent rotates up and down like my Tundra then the weight of the phone pulls the vent to the bottom of its travel.
-
But the car mount definitely works, my phone has never slipped off.
-
If your using GPS and listening to music at the same time your phone can get a bit warm but having it right on the vent keeps it nice an cool
-
The phone fell down even in small bump.
-
Holds my phone without any worry of it falling off
-
I was surprised that the small magnet was able to hold and support my phone and case
-
Pretty sure it would scratch my phone if I didn't have one
-
First time I hit a bump the phone
-
/support my phone
-
Phone hasn't fallen off a single time, and I show this mount off to everyone because it's so slick.
-
Not only did it fit the vent, the phone never falls off -- it holds on tight through the biggest of bumps -- even with the giant iPhone 6+
-
It doesn't hold the phone firmly and will not work if you have a case on the phone
-
Amazing phone
-
I would not pay much ($7?) for this because there are no instructions -- i.e. advice on how to best deploy -- and eventually your precious phone will come crashing down
-
Nice little magnetic air vent mount. hold my phone safe and secure in my Chrysler
-
Metal plates on the phone side will interfere with wireless charging operation, so if you have a wireless charge capable phone then you have been warned.
-
I really think this is one of the simplest and most clever phone holder on the market.
-
The magnet is strong enough to keep the phone secure while driving.
-
The only thing that concerns me, which has nothing to do with the quality of the product, is that the phone has heat or air conditioning blowing on as close range.
-
Now, I always have my phone in reach, and it hasn't fallen off yet
-
Easy to use, and just what I needed to secure the phone in a good visual location.
-
Pros: holds my phone quite well and doesn't move or fall off the air vent
-
Added bonus is that it can keep the phone cool as it can run warmer sometimes when I use GPS and music at the same time.
-
Does not stay clipped to the air vent, and the magnet makes my phone get really hot.
-
Works pretty good on my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder with vertical vents, I have a Nexus 6 phone that is pretty big and heavy, it's vibrates and shakes just a
-
The air vent phone holder does its job well, Very simple, nothing fancy, The material seems really sturdy, so I am sure it's a good bang for the buck, I am currently using it in a 2007 Volkswagen GTI, and I use it in the center vent or the air vent to the left of the driver.
-
No more losing my phone under my seat, it's always right there when I need it
-
My phone has yet to fall off the magnet
-
When using this mount and my heater, my phone gets ridiculously hot...as it should, terrible idea
-
I was very disappointed, it does not have the strength to hold up my phone like the other does
-
I have a Nexus 6 (1st Gen) with a case on it Diztronic Flexible TPU Case and it holds my phone very well
-
It is fine, but if your phone (such as my 2015 Moto G) has a magnetic sensor associated with a flip cover, and you can't disable the sensor, this won't work because when you mount it the phone will be fooled into thinking you are closing the cover and will therefore dim the screen
-
Functionally it works well and is better than previous phone holders I tried
-
I've purchased mpow instead and the magnet holds the phone in landscape the best.
-
I have a cheap phone (BLU R1 HD Amazon Prime exclusive
-
One of my favorite phone products
-
The magnet is solid and I feel like it would hold the phone under all circumstances.
-
My phone has fallen off of the magnet a few times when I am driving
-
It is super easy to use and the magnet is STRONG!It is a cell phone / smart phone car mount that attaches to one of the air vents.
-
I really like these little systems, they hold the phone securely on the dash, the clip works great on vents
-
I finally worked out a method whereby I would slide the phone up or down a bit before lifting it away from the holder and this works pretty well.
-
(Don't pull straight towards you because the magnet is so strong, it's easier to life one side of the phone for removal)The magnet is padded so it won't scratch your phone or your carOrder more than one for each car.
-
but I would stay away from messing up an expensive phone
-
The phone has not moved or fallen off the mount during any of my commutes or the few two hour long trips that I have taken since I bought it.
-
Its impressive how secure the phone is once everything lines up.
-
I have bought these for all of my phones, as well as my S/O's phones
