Have to be sure to set my phone in just the right spot to activate it

I am using this with an LG V30 and find that the "sweet spot" for phone placement is too small.

Works well and changes my I Phone faster, easy to find the sweet spot.

The only problem I have is that you have to place it a couple of times to get it on the right spot for it to recognize the phone.
