    • Too bad, because the tone is clear and mellow.
    • Intonation is great, i can hit low C right away with no hesitation and receive a clear tone and no problems sliding up and down the scale
    • The tone is bright
    • Other than that, the tone is lovely but
    • The tone and responsiveness aren't wonderful, but it's plastic.
    • I'm happy with the rich tone, lighter weight, dark color, and not much clogging so far.
    • This tenor has a harsh tone.
    • This is the same size but classic and has a lovely tone.
    • first keyless tenor that has an easy reach and pleasant tone.
    • It is very comfortable to play, has a great tone and is well balanced
    • Beautiful warm tone
    • This recorder has a mellow, resonant sound, and the tone is clear
    • Full range, strong tone make this a best buy
    • The recorder has a very nice mellow tone
    • The bad:I don't like the low C. Even when it's not finicky to produce, it has a thin and somewhat weak tone.
    • With the Yamahas, I feel like I have lots of time before there's any noticeable effect, plus plenty of time between when the tone is beginning to deteriorate and when it really sounds bad.
