These are only proper noise-cancelling headphones if you have the active noise cancelling feature on with music

Sound Quality: I don't have more expensive headphones to compare this

The headphones cancel noises out softly if no music is on

The headphones don't get super loud with semi muffled/flat bass

I wouldn't recommend these headphones for aerobic exercises

Regarding bluetooth connection strength, it is better than my old one.i can leave my room and go to kitchen to grab a coke (about 20-30feets) It can still connect to my desktop firmly.the distance si good enough for anything.5.In a word,It is a good headphones.
