Authentic Genuine Nagoya NA-771 15.6-Inch Whip VHF/UHF (144/430Mhz) Antenna SMA-Female for BTECH and BaoFeng Radios

    • Improved signal at repeater, more reliable operation.
    • Good signal strength VHF and UHF on local repeaters.
    • Any movement of the radio causes it to loose signal
    • But, did nothing to improve the signal.
    • I used this when hiking and the length is just about right, not too long, but long enough to get a good signal
    • Changed out to the NA-771 and same operator said the signal was much better than with the stock antenna.
    • I enjoy this product because it really helps boost signal and allow you to better communicate when indoors or farther distance
    • The ducky had difficulty getting good quality signal to and from the all but the local repeater, which didn't really cut it for me
    • it has a nice mag base and it gets great signals
    • Waste of time on the 82HP, I lost signal over the stock antenna that came with the Baofeng 82HP, it was a lot worse.
    • With this antenna I could pick up a very good signal on my porch.
    • The new antenna gave me a clearer signal and improved reception
    • Pulls in weak signals, very flexible
    • Improves signal very well
    • I receive great signal reports and am very impressed at performance of antenna
    • Working good so far haven't used it much using radio as a back up, good signal reports with the antenna though.
    • I get a much stronger and clearer signal with this antennae on my UV82HP than with the standard antennae that came with the radio
    • Got a great signal report from 8 miles away with 1W on 2m simplex.
    • Hasn't really improved signal, but that may be due having little time to work with it yet.
    • I don't have an SWR meter, so cannot measure, but based on performance, the NA-810 seems to be sending out a stronger signal than any other short antenna I've tried, and even better than the original antenna that came with the radio
    • I've often had trouble transmitting out and receiving some weaker signals in the depressed location in which I often found myself when trying to connect to a local HAM group.
    • works very well, good signal reports and a very good magnet base as well as good price
    • Clear signal
    • Improved signal reception.
    • Flexible, long, appears to put out a good signal
    • Standing in the same spot, holding the radio the same way, swapped antennas and I went from lots of interference and almost no signal strength with the rubber ducky to clean, high quality signal strength with the Nagoya
    • I can receive a 4 bar weak signal using my stock antenna but just silent using the UT-72.Swapped the two antennas several times but the results were just the same
    • Mine would not pick up any but the strongest signals (the local emergency services, for instance) while my whip antenna was picking up three or four local repeaters that were in operation
    • Bends well to fit on my vest, good signal conduction and reception.
    • Really helps open the radio up for better signals.
    • Pulls in weak signals, very flexible
    • I get really good signal.
    • I could never hit the repeater with nagoya antenna, whereas stock antenna would give me a very strong signal
    • Excellent antenna, the NA-701 sends a very clean signal out of the radio.
    • A short antenna won't pick up distant signal as well as a longer antenna but is more than adequate for most of my uses
    • After a few times of sitting on the center console of the truck connecting my HT to the antenna with no pulling, twisting, or other stress I lost my signal while talking with a buddy on a road trip.
    • I receive and transmit very clear signals
    • Strong signal.
    • Very satisfied....great signal reports on 2 meters... will purchase again...!!!
    • It does not get a good signal
    • I notice drop outs in that radios audio, and poor signal transimission and reception.
    • I live in the mountains and having a stronger signal is crucial
    • great addition to the baofeng radio really boost signal.
    • Got compliments on my clear signal even with using this antenna indoor over a non metal ground plane, i hit a repeater that was more than 2 miles away at least using my handheld radio 5 watts power
    • Good incoming signal quality and good reach to repeaters on the road.
    • Good quality and good signal reports using it
    • Anything to better boost a signal without eating too much of my money is a plus for me
    • I compared a repeater located 32 miles away with the new antenna and my little stock antenna received better signal strength that the Nagoya NA-771
    • While I am just a beginner in the Ham arena, this antenna does boost the signal significantly over the stock antenna that came with my radio
    • Almost no static even on weaker signals
    • Improved my signal inside the qth
    • Seemed to pull in the weak signals well
    • Seemed to pull in the weak signals well
    • My closest local VHF and UHF repeaters are 10 and 13 miles away, and using this antenna I can hit them bothfor full quieting using my HT's LOW power (1Watt) setting, and I get excellent signal reports.
    • Clear signal on both transmit and receive
    • In the vhf range it has a stronger signal then most of my dual band antennas
    • I get Great signal reports using this antenna with my radio.
    • I've tried multiple test with this antenna and my rubber ducky antenna gets a better signal than the Nagoya??
    • worked well improved signal quality.
    • Mr G says innreview the 24j performance did not improve in the reception but then in his summary at end says all had improved performance.
    • Antenna works good, thought doesn't seem to boost reception quite as much as I'd hoped.
    • worked as it was supposed to
    • The antenna works as it should.
    • It works nearly as good as my 1/2 wave 2M ground-plane antenna
    • Works as
    • that's just as flexible as it is in the picture
