The positive and negative wires hooked directly to the reverse light in the hatch, so the biggest challenge was snaking the wire all the way to the front of the minivan.

This is incorrect, the black wire must be attached to the negative (black/white) wire of the reverse light with the T-Tap connector.-The camera angle can only be adjusted by bending the plastic area which is troublesome if the angle has to be changed a lot to get it correct.-The camera also turns in the holder which can make the landscape tilt one direction or another if you find it's not
