I've made a few small projects with a couple of different sizes and I definitely feel less hand fatigue.

Other then that it worked as

My hands didn't cramp up as much as they did with a plain Aluminum hook

I have used it to clip on the side of my mirror for better lighting for makeup application, onto my car visor mirror (same reason) as well as to light up my purse to find my phone, etc
