Great crochet hooks, feel so much better than the standard hard hooks

She has found that these hooks are much easier to hold on to, and comfortable to crochet with.

Smooth hooks, no snagging on yarn

These hooks are as good as the ones that cost 3 or 4 times as much!

However, the "aluminum" hooks do not feel as smooth or dense as the completely metal hooks you can buy, let's say, as Walmart

They are more comfortable than the plain skinny metal hooks that hurt my hands

The hooks I've used are comfortable and easy to use.

The grip is very nice but the aluminium is not as smooth as my other Boye metal hook

Update January 15, 2016**I ended up contacting LiliSew on their Facebook page regarding my 3 damaged crochet hooks.

The hooks are comfortable, do not slide away from me and my hands are much less painful after a session crocheting.

I tend to be heavy handed and either bend the hooks or bruise myself which is not happening with this set at all

I paid as much for this entire large set of soft handled crochet hooks, as I paid for just two similar hooks in a local chain store (WM)

I also don't like that the hook on the LiLiSew is shallower.

Most of my patterns I have only Alphabetical listed.... Make sure to read the fine print, because two hooks are missing that's listed on the package D/3 3.25 & F/5 3.75

Unfortunately my new pup destroyed my 4.00mm hook, when looking for a replacemt i also looked at getting a 10.5 & 11 mm with the soft handles but didnt feel like paying another $18 for 3 hook

The aluminum hooks are loose in most of the grips and unless you have small hands or prefer short hooks, I wouldn't suggest them.

The fact that you need to reach up to the top hook to release the hanger is not a probable in a basement with a 7 ft ceiling but would be under an 8 ft ceiling.

it's a little difficult when doing double crochet with chunckier yarn because there's such a small amount of the handle showing..other than that, they're great hooks

They are pretty, but the hook is more shallow with a rounder tip than I prefer.
