Decent cheap speaker for watching movies on computer (easy to pair)

This is a pain, especially if the speaker is in a location not readily accessible like on a shelf

I weld and fabricate, so I create a great deal of ferrous shavings and dust, which wreak hell on speakers in general (the ferrous dust gets pulled into the speaker magnets and covers them to the point that the speaker no longer works or works with much distortion

I listen to music from 5am to 8pm every single day, I consider these speakers are worthless.

The volume knob is very low on the right speaker and it's hard to adjust the volume without your fingers hitting whatever the speakers is sitting on

The speaker was not working so I pulled and the plug that goes into the back of the computer to plug it back in again and noticed that the tip of the plug came off and is now inside the computer socket on the back of the computer

The speakers are not very loud, which surprises me because some of the reviews I read said they were plenty loud

If you are looking for good Bluetooth speakers, look elsewhere.

I was concerned that the speaker may not get loud enough to hear spoken word audio like audio books or podcasts over the noise of the shower, but it gets plenty loud enough, thankfully.

Now I can thanks to this wonderful little speaker.

Great little speaker to sit next to my Mac.

The sound is not as good as most of the new portable bluetooth speakers, but it is far superior to most comparably priced fm radios (much, much better than the $19 radio I 1st bought)

The (upgraded) Avantree Torpedo Plus Bluetooth Speaker was easy to pair with my iPhone and the sound was amazing for a relatively small inexpensive speaker.

Shortly after receiving my item the right speaker started to crackle intermittently, so I reached out to Avantree support and they happily replaced the speakers no questions asked

They're a great choice if you are looking to make an upgrade from your crappy $25 computer speakers.

So needless to say they are useless and now I have to take a 1 week old computer to the shop to get the piece out and the speakers are useless.

I bought this speaker as a secondary, portable around the house, speaker to my wired Harman Kardon that's connected to my main PC, I ended up using it as the primary speaker while switching to my Harman Kardon only when watching action movies
