Unfortunately, this unit was defective.

Was disappointed twice regarding having to have to return bad units, but love their customer service which solved my issues quickly

not sure If I got a defective unit or that's just how its they are designed.

Like before, they sent prepaid UPS labels for me to send the defective unit back, and either have me order from Amazon again with their coupon,

They shipped me a new pair to try and I have to say the second pair is better, the issues I had must have been a faulty unit

The headphone is under 4year warrantee but t this made no indifference.
