I replaced a cheaper Bluetooth receiver that had very limited range with this one.

I used the "tape out" auxiliary line-out then easily paired with a portable Bluetooth speaker.

We used to wear ear protecting headsets, but a nice bluetooth headset that sits around the ears with pads works just as well (picture old school headphones like from the 70's).Works with 2 pair at the same time.

Note: since giving the above feedback, I tried a competitive Bluetooth transmitter from Taotronics, and have experienced the same issue, so apparently the problem is not the fault of the Avantree Bluetooth transmitter.
