Very good quality slant rings are great, binders are heavier than what I thought.

However, I bought 10 of these for a workshop I am about to facilitate and would have liked to present participants with cosmetically perfect 3-ring binders

But the vinyl is cheap and the rings are not great

The cover holders destroy in a backpack easily, and the rings weren't that strong

I only use the quality D-ring ones, and I prefer a 1/2" one for each subject /class every semester

It was nice that one flip of the finger opens the rings, but as soon as it is put into use (open, insert contents, shut, open...) the rings immediately started going off track and papers would fall off a ring and get all messed up.

The slant rings are more helpful than the regular ones for my particular situation

The rings are on good and tight, so, for example, if someone leaves it in the crate on top of the car with the dog and drives away, I can hang onto the rings to keep from flying out of the crate (and the vinyl cover cleans up easily in case doggy's digestion acts up).

That's not entirely the binder's fault, but before QA lets a binder leave the door, the rings are like a braindead obvious thing to check :(

Not an Easy Turn Ring.

These are the best binders, they're sturdy and the slanted rings are much better for keeping papers in line and the binders closed neatly.

The plastic feels quite cheap around the cardboard sides, and the rings seem like they would break or become off-set easily

I also really like the D-ring which lets me add papers a bit easier, especially when the notebook is close to full
