The megatone construction does give me a darker, fuller sound that I personally find very pleasing to the ear.

Additionally, as someone with a naturally bright sound, I found that the mouthpiece darkened my timbre, giving me a much more orchestral sound

I love the sound, the throat is nice and open

My son wanted a mouthpiece to enhance his trumpet sounds
