The tape on the bottom of the monitors base wss not quite sticky enough to hold to my Dash

I don't think any sticky tape would work

Slightly complicated to install because I didn't realized that I had to both tap into the back up light in my car, as well as to a fuse in the front of my car

I haven't installed this yet, but I bench tested it and it appears to work as it should.

I am actually using this product on my boat for rear view viewing of oncoming boats, it is working out well into see what is behind me as well as when backing out of the slip, as For durability goes I have not had it long enough to know if it will sustain what I am using it for
