It didn't seem to adjust well for bright light (i.e. if I was backing up towards the sun, or towards a lamp post at night)

Originally o ran an ignition controlled do power source, but the small LED lights near the camera were on all the time, so I changed the poet to the reverse light

I opted to wire this to the rear tail lights for power ground and ran the video cable to my pioneer head unitIt works well day and the led lights work great at night.

Small LED lights are great to add some light to dark video.

Only problem I have is the glare on my screen from the LED lights at night.

This makes it to where the camera is staying on all the time, which I can tell because the LED lights are lit even with the key out of the ignition

, I’m just not a fan of the led lights being on the entire time that the camera is powered on.

This is especially true for cars with LED lighting, but may apply to some modern cars with incandescent bulbs.

Led lights beside the camera still come on and has power going to the camera, just no video.

After installing this I saw the LED lights turn on so that was good

Also i put some tape over the LED lights cause i dont see the need for them.
